Don't you just hate moldy pumpkins? Afterall, you put in a lot of work to carving a masterpiece and after only a few days it starts to decay. If you are looking to make your carved pumpkin last a bit longer this Halloween, here are a few simple tips.

Vaseline: cover any cut edges with Vaseline to lock in moisture and keep your pumpkin fresh.

Bleach & Water: create a 10 to 1 mixture of water and bleach. Let your pumpkin soak for eight hours. The bleach will protect against mold and the water will keep the cut edges fresh.

WD-40: shockingly WD-40 works as well. Spray any cut edges of the pumpkin, as well as the inside. Just be sure to use and LED light instead of a candle because the pumpkin will be flammable.
