Have you been considering hitting the race trail with a 5K but never actually sign up? Well, why not start with a charity 5K on October 23. The race and expo fundraiser aim to raise awareness for running, joggers, walkers and cyclist training on city streets. The event is a response to a death of a young athlete training in the Sherman Oaks area.
A 5K race is three miles long and can be complete by most people with little training. Which is great because the race is only a week away. If you are looking to get active while promoting a wonderful cause, why not run this race in October? Here is a bit more info abou the 6th Annual 5K.
