Do you have an old family chili recipe that can knock people’s socks off? Well next week is the time to dust off that recipe book and enter your world-famous chili into a competition for a great cause. The Sherman Oaks Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a chili cooking and tasting event for local residents to benefit stroke awareness. The event is free and open to the public and will be held at the LAFD Station 83: 4960 Balboa Blvd., Encino, CA. So even if you do not have a recipe to enter, stop by this great events and enjoy the fun. Your participation will benefit a great cause within your city.
