Swimming at a local city pool is right of passage for young children. Many of us have the best memories of swimming and causing ruckus at a pool. If you are looking to give your little ones that same great experience, the city of Sherman Oaks has a great pool available.  The Van Nuys\/Sherman Oaks pool is located on Huston st and open to the public six days a week. The pool is also manned by life guards and experienced parks and rec employees. So get your kids off the Pokeman Go and get them outdoors and into a pool. Here is a bit more information.
