]]> Mother’s Day is this Sunday, May 8^th and if you are looking to try something different and make the holiday special, skip the restaurants and crowed locations and try to get one intimate one-on-one time with mom. Here are a few ideas.

Go for a walk/hike: get your body moving first thing in the morning with a walk or hike. Spending some quite time with nature is a great way to bond with mom.

Break out the pictures: Mother’s love to reminisce about the past (actually doesn’t everyone?) so why not break out the old pictures and let your mother beam out the old days. Be sure to ask questions and stay involved.

Breakfast: get up early and cook breakfast for mom and the rest of the family. Just do not let her cook. It’s her day to enjoy it.
