St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner—its falls on a Thursday this year—and if you will be celebrating the holiday with a beer or two, here are a few tips for drinking responsibly and avoiding a hangover the next day (everyone is still required to show up to work on Friday).
Eat Carbs: eating a meal with carbs, fats and protein will help you metabolize alcohol quicker and avoid a hangover. Eat a nice burger and fries right before you go out.

Eat eggs: eggs help breakdown the toxin in alcohol that cause headaches, which are the worst part of a hangover. So have a big breakfast first thing in the morning.
